Auralisoft Display Calibration

Before you perform a Display Calibration, you should make sure that you have the correct video card settings for your monitor. If you are using a DVI or HDMI connection, choose the DP connection. You should leave the device on for at least 20 minutes, away from direct light. The monitor's color settings should be optimal, especially if you are using an LCD monitor. The video card should be set to the highest bit mode and should be set to high-resolution.

The calibration process involves a series of blinking lights and measures the screen against the expectations. Once the display is close to the target settings, it generates a profile that compensates for any remaining defects. Once you've completed the calibration, you should save the profile to a folder on your computer and apply it in the system's settings. Be sure to give it a meaningful name so you can identify it later. To get the best results, you must do a monthly or annual calibration.

The ColorSync device is a handy tool that comes with two parts. The front of the device has a lens, which protects it when it is clipped together. You'll need an adjustable USB cable to connect to the device. The USB cable will plug into a free USB port on your computer. The software is easy to use and guides you through a checklist of monitor calibration conditions. A computer with a built-in monitor calibration tool should be able to match a display with a spectrophotometer.

Softonic

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
